Staying Connected

  • Stay current on world events through CNN, the BBC, or other international news sources.
  • Get involved in groups or activities both on and off campus that are international in focus or continue a new interest that you acquired while overseas.
  • Submit creative written, audio, or visual work to Abroad View Magazine, Transitions Abroad, or Glimpse Magazine.
  • Act as a peer advisor for your school's study abroad office.
  • Take a language class.
  • Make a photo album or journal about your experience.
  • Contact the International Student’s Office on your campus to find a conversation partner or to volunteer with orientation, etc. You could greatly impact someone’s international experience here in the U.S.
  • Watch international films.
  • Get recognized for your scholarly achievement in international education through Phi Beta Delta national honor society.
