Pay It Forward: A Study Abroad Scholarship Program for Students, by Students
You've done it: you've studied abroad. And you know it's a cliché, but your experience really was transformational. Now you can help others experience the same life-changing opportunity with SU Abroad's Pay It Forward scholarships. Best of all, the scholarships won't cost you anything.
Pay it Forward is a referral program. All you need to do is encourage interested people to enroll in an SU Abroad program. You've got the stories and experiences, now you just need to share them! Once your friend(s) are admitted and abroad, we'll make a Referral Donation in your name. Not a dime out of your pocket and you've become a bona fide philanthropist.
Each credited Referral Donation is worth $100, and it's applied to the Pay It Forward scholarship fund for the next term. These funds are used to aid students who demonstrate financial need and/or academic merit. The more Referral Donations you make, the greater your chances are to qualify to have a Pay It Forward scholarship named after you. Imagine the Susan J. Smith Scholarship Fund. Or, the John P. Traveler Scholarship Fund.
