FIN355 Money and Banking (Fall, Spring)

Effective Fall 2017 not open to Syracuse management majors. This course examines the operations and functions of financial institutions and markets, and the management of these by both private institutions and government agencies. Relationships between the financial markets and the real economy are examined, in particular the causes and effects of financial crises. Finally, the management of such crises and the role of international agencies in the interdependent global financial system are discussed.
