Taught in Spanish at the Universidad de Chile and may not be offered every semester. This course will present assignments that allow students to acquire and develop effective communication in beginning Portuguese language and, simultaneously, to play an active role in cultural interaction with one another. With these objectives in mind and adopting a comparative perspective, the Portuguese language operation will be explained, in particular its grammar and structure. The growing autonomy of the student is considered fundamental in the process of learning the Portuguese language and culture.
