PSY393 Personality (Fall, Spring)

This course examines how people assess personality, problems in doing it, ethics, how scientific such studies can claim to be, as well as traditional theories. The course work consists mainly of personality profiling leading to determination of how the personality studied will respond to future world environments of social, economic and ecological restraint. An intensely practical course simulating what it feels like to be a psychologist in this subject with extensive internet and journal directed research. Prereq: PSY 205/PSY 209 (Foundations of Human Behavior) or an equivalent introduction to psychology course.
