SPA480.79 History of Chile and Continental America – 15th and 16th Centuries

This course gives a vision of the process of European overseas expansion between 12th and 16th centuries, starting with a background of the Middle Ages, as an introduction, and focusing on the discovery and conquest of Continental America with special attention to Spain.
