PSC300.1 : Southeast Asia in the World Political Economy

Description:

Lying to the south of China and the east of India, modern Southeast Asia comprises a remarkably diverse series of societies. Explore the historical and contemporary forces that have shaped this region and discover its unique cultural, social, political and economic characteristics. This course prepares students for a potential Module C research project which may include independent travel in Southeast Asia. May also be registered as BUA/IRP 300.1.
