ECN300.2 : International Economic Relations
Description:
This course focuses on the rapidly growing economic links binding countries and other broadly similar political entities. Topics examined include development of the global trade regime and impacts of globalization, dynamics of financial crises, and the rise of transnational corporations. Special emphasis on issues pertaining to Asia-Pacific area such as the changing economic fortunes of Japan and the East Asian economic challenge.
Prereq: Introductory course(s) in economics, international business and/or international relations.
