Description:
Taught in English This course covers almost all the subfields in finance, including financial economics, corporate finance, asset pricing, financial engineering, international finance, financial institutions, fixed income securities, insurance and risk management, real estate finance, and others. It is designed to help students improve their ability to do research and develop their professional skills in presentation. For SU students, this course counts as a finance or management elective (note: SU finance majors are limited to one finance elective taken through SU Abroad Centers, however students may take additional courses to count as management electives).
Pre-req: basic finance and statistics courses.
Class taught by Tsingua's School of Economics & Management and may not be available every semester. Tsinghua's exam schedule for this course may require students to stay beyond the regular SU Beijing program end-date.
