City University Courses

Before you apply…

There are some limitations to the City University direct enrollment program. Here are a few you should know about before you apply:

  • CityU classes are scheduled Monday-Saturday; you must be prepared to attend classes on Friday and Saturday.
  • You must have flexible course selections and needs (not all of the courses listed below are offered each semester).
  • CityU class offerings aren’t available until early April for the next fall semester and until September for the next spring semester. Actual class schedules are available about two weeks before the start of the semester.
  • Full syllabi for CityU courses are not available until the start of classes. Course outlines are available by clicking on the course titles below.
  • CityU does not offer intermediate Mandarin courses (you would not be able to continue Chinese language study on this program).
  • You should not expect to take English literature courses on this program.
  • You must register for a minimum of 12 SU-approved credits at CityU. Courses listed below are approved for Syracuse credit.
