The SU Abroad Istanbul program has suspended its student program for the 2016-17 academic year; however, we hope to be able to have students studying on the SU Istanbul program by Fall 2017. This depends, of course, on the security situation. The University’s International Risk Management team continues to monitor the situation, and will make a decision about Fall 2017 by the beginning of the spring 2017 semester. In the meantime, the SU Istanbul Center remains open for on-going research, projects, and visiting faculty/graduate students.
Thank you for your support of this program, and if you have questions, please contact Associate Provost for International Education and Engagement Margaret Himley (firstname.lastname@example.org).
Applications are temporarily suspended
The academic program in Istanbul combines the SU Abroad Signature Seminar and optional internships with the opportunity to take coursework in English alongside Turkish students and international peers at Bahçeşehir University. In addition to two required courses with SU Abroad faculty, most SU Istanbul students will enroll in three or four Bahçeşehir University courses.
