Study abroad in Istanbul, Turkey

Welcome to SU Istanbul!

Istanbul sits at the geographic, cultural, and political fulcrum between Europe, Asia, and the Middle East, and students at SU Istanbul will gain an incomparable vantage point for examining some of the most important issues of our time - from secularism and Islam, to democratization, security, minority and gender rights, and urban development. The city has been a veritable melting pot of cultures, traditions, and lifestyles stretching back over 2000 years. So there is always something new (or something ancient and grand) to explore. To get a feel for what life is like on campus, visit the SU Istanbul website.

Note for Fall 2015: If a student needs to return to their home campus for the start of spring semester prior to the end of the semester in Istanbul, arrangements can be made. Students must be prepared to leave no earlier than the Friday before the Monday when their spring semester begins.
