Studying abroad in London allowed me to grow as a person and develop a stronger sense of independence. Away from my usual support network of family and friends in Syracuse, I strengthened my personal decision-making skills and became more self-sufficient. Living in a small flat within the Marble Arch enclave of London, I learned about a unique sub-culture and diversified my own likes and interests. I will always look back on my London experience fondly – it helped me grow into the person that I am today!
