Students must apply for and obtain a student visa to enroll in the Syracuse Beijing Program
Following acceptance to the program, you will receive official letters from Syracuse University and Tsinghua University verifying the purpose and the length of your educational program in China. With this letter and other documentation (including a valid passport), you will apply to the Chinese consulate with jurisdiction for where you live. A list of Consulates of China and their jurisdictions is available online at the Embassy of China website .
NOTE: Consulate requirements may vary. Please check requirements for the consular office that applies to your permanent residence. Most consulates require an in-person appearance to apply for your visa. However, if you use a visa processing service, this requirement is waived.
