It is recommended that you arrive early (around mid-August if starting in fall or mid-January for the spring), to look for an apartment unless you set up one before you arrive. There are rooms for rent in three or four bedroom apartments within walking distance to campus. One-bedroom apartments are scarcer and relatively expensive. You will have to pay a month’s rent in advance, plus a refundable security deposit equal to the monthly rent. Prices will start at about $400 a month per person (excluding utilities). These townhouses offer up-to-date appliances (refrigerator, stove, microwave, washer, dryer), beds, televisions, dressers, closets, and a living room with couches. This location also has off-street parking. Robert Drive is located near Syracuse University’s South Campus and is just down the road from Manley Field House. It is about a 5-10 minute walk to main campus. It’s located on a main bus route, so you can conveniently reach SU’s main campus, Tops grocery store, have easy access to the highway (I-81).
Very close to SU, 1 or 2 minute walking. All utilities included: cable television (75 channels), Internet (modem and Wi-Fi), air conditioning and heat, laundry and dryer (in the apartment). This is a 4 bedroom apartment; it has 2 bathrooms, kitchen, and living room. In the building you have a nice gym, lounge room with big TVs, couches, and a barbecue area. Conditions that you need to know:
1) You must be an SU student and 2) you must have been living in SU dorms for two years minimum or if you are from abroad. The term of the lease is 6 months, from August to January or from January to June. Call for current monthly rates.
