Lecturers lead students on day-long and overnight trips in Italy and Europe and deliver lectures on subjects appropriate to their experience and qualifications.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Prepare enjoyable, professional lectures for field trips in Florence, Italian and European destinations<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ensure students get to know each other on the journey from Florence to the destination<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Collaborate with the Experiential Learning Office on developing itineraries<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Pick up the information package, first-aid kit and any cash needed before the trip<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Monitor the group\u2019s overall safety and respond to any non-medical situations which may arise<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Communicate any medical emergencies or incidents to the emergency phone in Florence<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Prepare budget returns in a timely manner after the trip<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Provide timely feedback to the Experiential Learning Office<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Mandatory<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Italian citizen or legal work permit for Italy<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Licensed tour guide<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Experience working with groups of US students<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Excellent oral and written Italian and English language skills<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Exceptional, demonstrated organizational skills and attention to detail<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Exceptional ability to remain flexible and patient in any situation<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Team-oriented, enthusiastic, energetic and friendly<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>B.A. &nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Preferred<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Knowledge of study abroad programs, international education and the U.S. academic system<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Experience living, working, or studying abroad<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Partita IVA<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>First aid certificate<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>M.A.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Experiential Learning Office is always accepting applications from qualified tour guides to join our team as Field Trip Lecturers.
