{"id":11750,"date":"2025-02-24T17:06:31","date_gmt":"2025-02-24T16:06:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/suabroad.syr.edu\/florence\/?page_id=11750"},"modified":"2025-05-14T14:36:47","modified_gmt":"2025-05-14T12:36:47","slug":"responsible-adult","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/suabroad.syr.edu\/florence\/employment-at-suf\/responsible-adult\/","title":{"rendered":"Responsible Adult"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Experiential Learning Office<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Reports to:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Experiential Learning Liaison<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Indicative and not exhaustive:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Pick up the emergency kit from the Experiential Learning Office the day before leaving for a Field trip and always carry the emergency kit during the field trip<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Collect entrance tickets and small sums of cash from the Experiential Learning Office, and return receipts and leftover monies, if appropriate<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Check student attendance before departure<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Communicate any absences to the Experiential Learning Office via Qualtrics<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Remain with the group for the entire length of the trip, including roundtrip transportation where appropriate<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Assist with any medical emergencies and provide support to students who are not feeling well<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If a student must end the field trip earlier than scheduled because of a medical emergency, accompany the student to Florence, if appropriate<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Communicate any medical emergencies or incidents to the Syracuse Florence Emergency phone \u2013 details are on the itinerary<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Before returning to Florence check if all students are present<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Return the emergency kit to the Experiential Learning Office after the field trip has ended<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Support the Field Trip Lecturer and\/or Cultural Tour Leader as needed<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Other tasks not listed and compatible with this role, as necessary<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Italian citizen or legal work permit for Italy<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Excellent oral and written Italian and English language skills<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Good organizational skills<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>First aid certificate preferred<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Experiential Learning Office Reports to: Experiential Learning Liaison Responsibilities: Indicative and not exhaustive: Requirements:<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":63,"featured_media":0,"parent":596,"menu_order":0,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","template":"","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"wds_primary_featured-nav":0,"footnotes":""},"class_list":["post-11750","page","type-page","status-publish","hentry"],"acf":[],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/suabroad.syr.edu\/florence\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/pages\/11750","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/suabroad.syr.edu\/florence\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/pages"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/suabroad.syr.edu\/florence\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/page"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/suabroad.syr.edu\/florence\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/users\/63"}],"replies":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/suabroad.syr.edu\/florence\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/comments?post=11750"}],"version-history":[{"count":6,"href":"https:\/\/suabroad.syr.edu\/florence\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/pages\/11750\/revisions"}],"predecessor-version":[{"id":13265,"href":"https:\/\/suabroad.syr.edu\/florence\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/pages\/11750\/revisions\/13265"}],"up":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/suabroad.syr.edu\/florence\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/pages\/596"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/suabroad.syr.edu\/florence\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=11750"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
