See below for more information about:<\/p>\n<h2><strong><span style=\"color: #f76900\">Computers &amp; Printing<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #d44500\">Computer Lab<\/span><\/h3>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Four desktop computers (PCs) and MAC are networked to black &amp; white and color printers in the Computer Lab of the Villa Rossa (basement level). The Computer Lab follows the same opening hours as the Library.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #d44500\">Printing Options<\/span><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>From a SUF desktop computer<br \/><\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Print from a desktop computer to a black &amp; white or color printer (one-sided or double-sided printing are possible) in the Computer Lab or Library.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #d44500\">Email-to-Print<\/span><\/h3>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none\">\n<ul>\n<li>Using any email client with your SU email account configured (web, desktop, mobile), compose a new email to <strong><span style=\"color: #d44500\">print@syr.edu<\/span><\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Include the file\/s you wish to print as an attachment &#8211; you can attach more than one document in the same email. Acceptable files include PDF and image files (jpg, png, tiff, gif etc\u2026). Adobe Creative Cloud\/Suite files are not supported.<\/li>\n<li>Send your email. You will receive a confirmation message back from the print system. The cost stated in the email shows the maximum per-page charge but the actual charge may be less; the correct charge will be shown in your Recent Print Jobs.<\/li>\n<li>Click on the link in the confirmation email or go to <a href=\"https:\/\/printing.syr.edu\/client\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong><span style=\"color: #d44500\">https:\/\/printing.syr.edu\/client<\/span><\/strong><\/a>. Login to the system with your NetID and password.<\/li>\n<li>From the Jobs Pending Release tab, <strong><span style=\"color: #d44500\">release<\/span><\/strong> your job by clicking print next to your job&#8217;s name and selecting a Florence printer\u00a0 based on your actual position.<\/li>\n<li>The PaperCut print management system site listed above will show your credit balance and transaction history. If necessary, funds can be added through Cashnet with a credit card.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>For technical assistance, bring your laptop or mobile device to the IT Office in Room 20 of Villa Rossa during regular office hours, or write to flrhelp@syr.edu.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #d44500\">Scanner<br \/><\/span><\/h3>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>A flatbed scanner is available to students free of charge in Rm. 10 of the Library (Villino building). Log onto the computer with your SU email credentials and follow the prompts after selecting the scanner icon on the screen. <em>Important: Be sure to sign out after use.<\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #d44500\">School of Architecture<\/span><\/h3>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The School of Architecture, located at Piazzale Donatello 25, has small resource rooms with desktop computers, scanners, and color and laser printers. All studios are connected to the campus\u2019s wireless network.<\/p>\n<header class=\"entry-header\"><\/header>\n<div class=\"entry-content\"><\/div>\n<header class=\"entry-header\">\n<h2><strong><span style=\"color: #f76900\">WiFi@AirOrangeGlobal<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n<\/header>\n<div class=\"entry-content\">\n<p><span>Wireless access is available to SU students, guest students, faculty, and staff anywhere on campus for laptops and mobile devices through AirOrangeGlobal. The logon password will be sent to your SU email before the semester starts. To take full advantage of SU\u2019s high-speed Wi-Fi environment, you need a device that supports the 802.11ac (preferred) or 802.11n. It is prohibited to use your own wireless routers, Wi-Fi hotspots, or Apple AirPorts anywhere on the Syracuse Florence campus.
