Specific rules at the Instituto International

(a) No eating or drinking is allowed in the classroom.

(b) “Smoking” is not allowed and is defined as inhaling, exhaling, burning, or carrying any lighted or heated cigar, cigarette, pipe, or other device designed to accomplish, enable or imitate the act of smoking, including electronic cigarettes (e-cigarettes), hookahs, and all vapor/vaping devices.

(c)  Alcoholic drinks are completely forbidden in the building.

(d) The professor has the authority to enforce these Syracuse Abroad/Madrid classroom policies and will report any significant or repeated violation of them to the Assistant Director, which may result in further action.
