Syracuse Madrid generally offers rooms in three non-homestay options: Xior Madrid Retiro Residence Hall, El Faro Madrid Student Residence (not offered in summer), and The Social Hub Madrid. In the spring only, other options will be available in addition to the three previously mentioned, such as Gald\u00f3s Madrid Student Residence.<\/p>\n

Students are assigned to rooms utilizing information provided on the Housing Request Form, which can be found found among the post-acceptance forms on the application. Please note: there is limited capacity in the residence halls & The Social Hub.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Xior Madrid Retiro Residence Hall<\/h2>\n

\"\"<\/h3>\n

The Xior Madrid Retiro Residence Hall<\/a>, inaugurated in September 2018, is a luxury student housing facility in the heart of Madrid, situated in the Salamanca neighborhood of Madrid and is a 20-minute walk or a quick commute to the Syracuse Madrid Center. The rooms are furnished. Each floor has a small kitchenette with a sink, refrigerator, and microwave. Bed linens and bath towels are provided and laundered weekly by the cleaning staff. Xior Madrid Retiro offers a half-board option, which includes 20 breakfasts and 20 additional meals to choose from, either lunch or dinner.<\/p>\n

This option is especially interesting for students looking for a different kind of cultural experience. Here, students will have the opportunity to interact with Spanish or international university students and participate in sports and activities organized by the residence hall staff.<\/p>\n

El Faro Madrid Student Residence<\/span><\/span><\/h2>\n

This residence hall, Residencia El Faro<\/a>, is situated in the Moncloa neighborhood of central Madrid and is a 25-minute walk from the Syracuse Madrid center. The rooms are furnished, including a small kitchen with a sink, mini-fridge, and microwave. Bed linens and bath towels are provided and laundered weekly by the cleaning staff. Three meals a day from Sunday dinner to Friday lunch in the El Faro cafeteria are included in this option.<\/p>\n

This option is especially interesting for students looking for a different kind of cultural experience. \u00a0Here, students will have the opportunity to interact with Spanish university students and participate in sports and activities organized by the residence hall staff.<\/p>\n

The Social Hub Madrid<\/span><\/h2>\n

The Social Hub Madrid<\/a>, which opened its doors in summer 2022, is a refurbished printing house, La Imprenta.<\/i> Previously, it was referred to as The Student Hotel.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

It’s a ten-minute walk from Madrid’s\u00a0iconic Gran V\u00eda, Plaza de Espa\u00f1a,\u00a0and the Spanish Royal Palace.\u00a0<\/span>It’s also within walking distance from the Pr\u00edncipe P\u00edo transportation hub, where you’ll be able to take a quick subway ride on line 10 to the Syracuse Madrid center for an approximate 25-minute commute.<\/span>

The facilities are divided into two wings, a four-star hotel side, and a student residence hall side. The residence hall space offers single-room accommodations with an en-suite bathroom. You can purchase meals in the cafeteria or use the large common kitchen where you will have access to your own refrigerated locker. <\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
