On-Campus Resources: the Syracuse Madrid Nurse<\/span><\/h3>\n

With the help of an English-speaking, on-site nurse (provided through PreverSalud<\/a>), most of our students are able to resolve their health issues right on campus.<\/em><\/p>\n

Off-Campus Resources

As a capital city, Madrid has a wide array of medical services, ranging from private offices to big hospitals.\u00a0In most cases, we\u2019re able to recommend bilingual specialists from most major medical fields.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Our partner healthcare providers are Hospital Universitario HM Madrid, Hospital Universitario Vithas Madrid La Milagrosa, and SINEWS. See below for more information.<\/p>\n

At either of these hospitals, ask for the International Department, and be sure to let them know that you are a Syracuse Madrid student. They will be able to provide an\u00a0English-speaking interpreter.<\/p>\n

In addition, students have access to a limited amount of appointments with a local, English language psychologist, free of charge. Through SINEWS, students also have access to a 24-hour English-speaking mental health crisis line: +34 619 27 01 48<\/strong><\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n
