ARI467 Experimental Advanced Drawing (Fall, Spring)

Drawing as an expressive art form. Students may need or want to purchase other materials more suited to individual selection (such as specialty drawing papers and tools). Biennially, Fall semester students may opt to participate in a trip to Venice for the Biennale with an additional fee payable in Florence with a credit card. Replaces PTG 455 and PTG 456 (Advanced Drawing I & II). Meets with ARI 667.

ARI 467 may be taken twice for credit. Limited enrollment, with preference given to students admitted to Studio Art Program.

Prereq: PTG 355, 356, or equivalent

Course-related fee: A fee will be billed from Syracuse to cover the cost of models and/or studio supplies and Florence site visits (2017–2018 fee = $215).
