Drawing as an expressive art form. Historical awareness. Relation of drawing to major areas of study. Philosophical development in the use of personal imagery and techniques.

Prereq: ARI 333 (Drawing II) or equivalent

Course-related fee: A fee will be charged to cover the cost of models and/or studio supplies and Florence site visits (2019-20 fee = $215). Students may need or want to purchase other materials more suited to individual selection (such as specialty drawing papers or tools).
