Introductory proficiency-based course which prepares students to understand, speak, read and write in culturally-authentic contexts. Activities are conducted in Chinese (Mandarin). No prior experience needed. Students cannot enroll in CHI 101 after earning credit for CHI 102, CHI 201, or CHI 202 or higher.
