ECN480.3 Local and Industrial Development (at the U. of Florence) (Fall)

Open only to students accepted to the special program Florence Center & University of Florence (courses taught in English). 

Taught in English by the University of Florence and open to Syracuse University students. The course aims to improve the capacities of personal and analytical assessment of local and industrial development issues in developed and developing countries: analysis of industrial development considering market theories, economic organization and technological evolution; structures, strategies, performance, and feed-back at an individual and collective level; analysis of local and regional development and policy implications.

The University of Florence calendar may require students taking this course to stay beyond the regular SU Florence program end-date.
