EDI380.3 Light and Color Applications

This course aims to introduce a disciplinary approach to lighting design and color use in Interior Architecture and Architecture. The course is designed to give students an understanding and perception of lighting and color as two significant tools in the design of interiors, through the analysis of major concepts. Course content includes the lighting fundamentals such as vision and perception, light and health, properties of light, natural and artificial lighting, light and form and the lighting applications in several projects; and color fundamentals such as the interaction of light and color, essentials of color and color as a tool for communication between space and people. Counts as a studio elective for SU Design majors. (INAR 3902/INT 3901)
