The course analyzes the Republican period, starting with the formation of Latin American nations until the crisis of the liberal state in the transition from the 19th to the 20th century. The course will cover main economic, political, social and cultural processes in Chile within the historical development of Latin America. El curso analiza el periodo republicano, comenzando con la formación de las naciones latinoamericanas hasta la crisis del estado liberal en la transición del siglo XIX al XX. El curso cubrirá los procesos económicos, sociales y culturales en Chile dentro del desarrollo histórico de Latinoamérica.
