Taught in English. This course introduces students to major concepts and techniques for designing and implementing a policy-oriented social research and basic techniques for analyzing quantitative data. Its ultimate objective is to equip students with necessary knowledge and skills for conducting policy-oriented research. Students will have many opportunities for hands-on experience in research design, implementation, analysis and presentation.
Class taught by Tsinghua’s School of Public Policy & Management and may not be available every semester. Tsinghua’s exam schedule for this course may require students to stay beyond the regular SU Beijing program end-date.
