PSC380.26 Political Behavior

This course aims to familiarize students with the factors that explain political behavior. The course is composed of three parts: the first part elaborates on the cultural approach to the formation of political interests and identities which shape political behavior; the second one will focus on the different existing theories in political science to explain voting behavior; the last part concentrates on the most significant political institutional determinants of voting behavior – party and electoral systems.
