Course Name: PTG281 Introductory Painting
Description: Figurative and nonfigurative painting in oils as the basis for study of color and form. Materials and approaches. A course fee will be billed from Syracuse to cover the cost of models and/or studio supplies and a day trip to Bologna (2012-13 fee = $230). Students will need to purchase or bring paints and brushes at an estimated cost of 100 Euro. Limited enrollment, with preference given to students admitted to Studio Art Program. Prereq: FND 114 (Drawing) or equivalent.
