Course Name: PRT251 Intro Printmaking: Intaglio
Description: Methods used in making intaglio prints. Demonstrated techniques: etching, drypoint, aquatint, and a variety of experimental approaches to plate-making and printing. A course fee will be billed from Syracuse for studio supplies and a day trip to Bologna and Pistoia (2012-13 fee = $205). Biennially, Fall semester students may opt to participate in a trip to Venice for the Biennale with an additional fee payable in Florence with a credit card. Limited enrollment, with preference given to students admitted to Studio Art Program.
