Course Name: PSY395 Abnormal Psychology - SPRING ONLY
Description: The purpose of this course is to give you an understanding of the biological, cultural and political issues alive within the field of abnormal psychology. Issues with respect to psychological assessment and therapeutic treatment of abnormal behavior will also be discussed. Topics include stress and adjustment disorders, mood disorders and suicide, sexual variants, abuse and dysfunctions, and schizophrenia and delusional disorders. Prereq: PSY 205/209 or an introductory psychology course (a second psychology course is recommended).
