What is Included
The Santiago Cuenca program fee of $6,185 covers host-stay housing and meals for the 4-week Ecuador presemester program and the 17-week semester in Santiago. It also covers transportation and hotels with breakfast for the required two-week travel seminar in Chile, Argentina, and Montevideo, and seminar museum entry fees, and four group meals. Hotel stays for the two-day orientation programs in Quito and Santiago are also included. Program fee also covers transportation for field study and extracurricular activities within Ecuador. Students should budget $1,000 for round trip transportation (Miami-Quito-Cuenca-Quito Santiago-Miami) and an additional $2,000 for additional meals during travel seminar, local travel within Santiago and Chile, textbooks, and other personal expenses.
Santiago Semester Only students not participating in the Ecuador program, pay a program fee of $5,185 that covers host-stay housing and meals for the 17-week semester in Santiago; hotels with breakfast and transportation during the required two-week travel seminar in Chile, Argentina, and Montevideo, and seminar museum entry fees and 4 group meals. An orientation program in Santiago with 2 nights in a hotel is also covered.
