Danelle has worked in various professional roles in higher education, since earning her Master of Science Degree in Counseling in 2002. She began her career at UCLA, as a career counselor and graduate school advisor, and also served on the undergraduate admissions committee. Her love of teaching offered the opportunity to lead discussion courses at UCLA and teach career planning courses at Santa Monica College. Following her previous study abroad experiences in Mexico and Spain, she boarded a ship, and traveled around the world with students, living, learning, and exploring multiple cities and countries over the course of 100 days abroad. Thus began her career in international education. Since then, Danelle has worked for academic institutions and education abroad providers, working with faculty, students, administrators, and advisors on educational programming, internships, logistics, and intercultural exchange.

Danelle is a California native who now resides in North Carolina, where she enjoys outdoor adventures, teaching pilates, and exploring art, music, and culture.
