ARI280.1 Beginning Metalsmithing I (Fall, Spring)

Design and fabrication of jewelry. Techniques and materials. Craftsmanship and the jewelry-making craft as a fundamental art experience. Basic bending and forming, soldering technology and finishing. Stone setting.

Limited enrollment, with preference given to students admitted to Studio Art Program.
