This course considers the historical background of the European Union and the initial efforts to establish a permanent international organization, the economic incentives that promote deeper integration among diverse national socioeconomic systems, and the role of the European Union as an international actor replacing nation-states. This course will allow students to understand trade patterns in the largest market of the world.
In some semesters, this course is not open during online registration to students in ECN 365 (check academic update for any restrictions for current semester).
