Taught in French. Reinforce your French language skills as you learn to communicate in a diplomatic and international context. Includes an emphasis on written and spoken communication to help you achieve increased French language proficiency. Combines language instruction in the classroom with participation in numerous Strasbourg site visits to multi-lateral institutions, diplomatic missions, and other actors in international affairs. You will acquire cultural awareness and knowledge of French and international governmental structures especially relevant for a career in diplomacy or foreign policy.
Prerequisite: FRE 202 or an equivalent proficiency to four semesters of college-level French.
