Taught in Spanish at the Pontificia Universidad Catolica and may not be offered every semester. This course studies poverty as a socio-spatial phenomenon and its relation to issues such as social exclusion and sustainable development. Quantitative and qualitative methodologies are used to study the topic at hand from a contemporary and interdisciplinary point of view, integrating social exclusion, segregation, vulnerability, inequality, welfare and human capital.
