Taught in Spanish at the Pontificia Universidad Catolica and may not be offered every semester. This course introduces students to the analysis of the Asian region and its relations with Latin America, in particular with Chile. It offers spatial, political, and cultural perspectives on the Asian-Pacific region and Latin America. Students analyze the integration of both regions into the global development process and the comparative advantages that stem from their geographical locations. The course includes the study of Asian political systems (e.g. actors, decision making process, and policies.) (GEO 2904)
