GEO380.4 Urban Development

Taught in Spanish at the Pontificia Universidad Catolica and may not be offered every semester. This course analyzes the most significant elements of urban systems, in order to provide an explanatory framework to understand the processes that occur within cities and which make up the urban development of the contemporary city. Specifically, the analysis includes basic concepts of urban economics and location theory, after which focus is placed on delving into the current dynamics of problems faced by cities and possible solutions.
