Taught in Spanish at the Universidad Diego Portales and may not be offered every semester. The course explores the trends in the foreign policy of the countries of the region, the institutional context in which they take place and their impact on the domestic politics of countries. The main objectives of the course are to familiarize students with some key aspects of regional international relations, such as cooperation and conflict, relations with the U.S. and Europe, transnational networks and the role of international institutions in Latin America.
