Taught in English. This course introduces the issues of “governance and development” covered by World Development Report 2017: Governance and the Law. It also goes beyond the WDR 2017 by bringing in insights from the literature on “experimental governance” and institutional political economy, as well as the recent development of global value chains and their governance.
