Taught in Spanish at the Pontificia Universidad Catolica and may not be offered every semester. This course examines the protection and guarantee of human rights in the field of international relations. To meet this goal, the course looks at the work of the specialized intergovernmental agencies, as well as the efforts of States and NGOs in this regard. The course also deals with the study of human rights in a comparative way, in order to facilitate learning about the situation of human rights in various states in addition to knowledge about the strategies that NGOs develop internationally for promoting a human rights agenda.
