Syracuse Madrid Program is one of the programs hosted at the Instituto Internacional Madrid. Therefore, all the staff, faculty and students must abide by their internal code of conduct which includes:
- No eating or drinking is allowed in the classroom.
- Smoking and alcoholic drinks are completely forbidden in the building.
- “Smoking” is defined as inhaling, exhaling, burning, or carrying any lighted or heated cigar, cigarette, pipe, or other device designed to accomplish, enable or imitate the act of smoking, including electronic cigarettes (e-cigarettes), hookahs, and all vapor/vaping devices.
- The professor has the authority to enforce these Syracuse Abroad/Madrid classroom policies and will report any significant or repeated violation of them to the Assistant Director, which may result in further action.
