SPM225 Managing the Sport Organization (Fall, Spring)

Application of management concept and theories to sport organizations and the sport industry. Includes issues of leadership, ethics, organizational design, strategic planning, labor relations, diversity, globalization, and organizational changes.

Course fee: A fee will be billed to cover sporting even admissions and site visits (2023-24 = $170). For this course, tickets are purchased by Syracuse London in advance. Once registered, students are responsible for all expended and committed costs, even if the course is dropped prior to the start of classes.
