If you are in need of assistance, stop by the Student Life office to speak to a member of our staff, Monday to Thursday,  8:30am – 6pm. The office is located in Room 202 on the second floor of the International Institute. On Fridays, staff will be available via email during these same hours. Please note that these services are only available to current Syracuse Madrid students.


For serious emergencies:

  • For serious, immediate, and life-threatening emergencies, call 112 (Spain’s equivalent to 911).

For urgent support:

  • If you need urgent support during office hours, call us immediately at +34 913 19 99 42.
  • During the weekends or after hours, call the student resource line for urgent issues at +34 696 41 39 77.
  • In case of a mental health crisis, we have an English-speaking mental health professional on call 24 hours a day, seven days a week. You may contact her at +34 619 27 01 48.

If you feel threatened in any way, contact a member of the Student Life staff, or as mentioned above, call our 24-hour crisis line. Alternatively, you can reach out to your professors, host parents, and other University staff if you feel comfortable doing so. They will alert the Student Support staff who will work to provide you with resources to assist you.
