BEIJING (Students wishing to take Tsinghua courses taught in Mandarin):

  • Option II/III Request Form.pdf (with writing sample attached)
  • Writing sample: Please submit 1 to 2 pages of an original work in Mandarin. You may submit an essay from your class work in its original, unedited version.

FLORENCE (Option II/III, Studio Arts, and Non-SU Architecture applicants only):

  • Studio Arts and Non-SU Architecture Applicants: Portfolio (12-15 images on a CD or in a booklet)
  • Option II/III Request Form.pdf
  • Option II/III writing sample: Please submit 1 to 2 pages of an original work in Italian. You may submit an essay from your class work in its original, unedited version.

LONDON (SU and Non-SU Design, Non-SU Architecture and Non-SU Photojournalism applicants only):

  • Portfolio (12-15 images on a CD or submit materials electronically to Gail Rich at gnrich@syr.edu)

MADRID:

  • Option II/III applicants: Option II/III Recommendation Form.pdf
  • Option II/III writing sample: Please submit 1 to 2 pages of an original work in Spanish. You may submit an essay from your class work in its original, unedited version.

SANTIAGO (all applicants):

  • Writing sample: Please submit 1 to 2 pages of an original work in Spanish. You may submit an essay from your class work in its original, unedited version.
  • Track II students only: Track II Academic Recommendation Form

STRASBOURG (Option II/III and Music Program Applicants)

  • Option II/III Request Form.pdf
  • Option II/III writing sample: Please submit 1 to 2 pages of an original work in French. You may submit an essay from your class work in its original, unedited version.
  • Music program applicants: Fifteen (15) minute CD, including three performance pieces of varying styles from three different historical periods, including a modern piece. Please submit the CD by October 3, 2011.
