Imagine life where the days are long on sunshine, and the evenings are full of the colors and sounds of people who enjoy life to its fullest. Based in festive and modern Madrid, the SU program explores the entirety of Spanish culture.

Course-related field study brings you to Roman ruins, medieval villages, subterranean caves, and the majestic mountains of the north—while your Spanish home-stay will further deepen your personal and academic experience. You can even gain valuable professional experience with one of our many internship opportunities.
During the day, students participate in internships or service learning placements, getting to know children at schools and churches or taking that little almuerzo with office colleagues at 11 o’clock on the dot. In the evening, students have a choice of events that SU Madrid staff arrange with Spanish students who are always eager to share coffee at a study break or show you the best places to go in Madrid.
