Congratulations on your acceptance to Syracuse Abroad!

Have questions? Check out our FAQspacking information, and safety information. Or if you’d like to talk to recent alumni from your program, contact our global ambassadors, students who are eager to share their expertise.

What to Expect Once You’ve Been Accepted

The first and most important piece of advice we can offer is to read your email. Your admissions counselor is about to send you a lot of vital information and reminders. It is essential that you follow his or her instructions and complete your post-acceptance information.

There’s a lot of information about to head your way: questions about your passport (Do you have one? Great! If not, apply now!), instructions on how to submit your advanced payment to confirm your place in the program, paperwork for your student visa, and reminders about post-acceptance forms.

Some of the tasks ahead might be tedious, but trust us when we say that we’re working to help you get everything done as quickly as we can – we want you to have the time of your life abroad, too!

This post-acceptance checklist will help keep you organized as you head toward your semester abroad.
