Learning Italian in a classroom setting is important, but actually speaking the language with mother-tongue Italians has an even greater impact on one’s communications skills. Spazio Conversazione is a forum for the exchange of language and culture in a relaxed and informal setting at Syracuse Florence. Organized by the Italian Department, it meets most Mondays in the late afternoon, offering American and Italian university students the opportunity to meet together and converse on a range of topics while sharing interesting and enlightening elements of each other’s culture and local traditions around a buffet of light refreshments.
Special activities or events may also occasionally be organized in conjunction with the Student Life Office.
When: Mondays (see calendar from your Italian professors for exact times and location)
Where: Syracuse University Florence, Piazza Savonarola, 15
